Our goal is to provide the best experience using the application, and we strive to achieve this goal by using transparent mechanisms for handling information collected from sellers and consumers. When installed, the Application requests access to read information about users (see above) as well as about the seller himself (see above).
Requests for registration of an auction session, as well as information about paid orders, are stored in the Application database.
Cookies are set for the seller that are necessary for the correct operation of the Application in his Shopify administrative panel (authorization cookies)
The Application collects the following information: identifier and name (which can be changed by the user to any other name when registering for an auction session).
The Application sets cookies and also writes to local storage data that is necessary for the Application to work (cart, products, user ID).
The Application does not collect marketing information.
Although Shopify states that the Application needs access to the following information:
the Application actually uses only the seller's email and (arbitrarily entered) username from this set of parameters.
Collecting statistical data on Application effectiveness – to analyze and improve the seller's experience (statistical dashboard for the seller).
Data is stored on secure servers and is only accessible to a limited number of individuals with special access rights.
The data is not transferred to third parties and is used solely for the purposes of providing services by the Application.
Data is stored permanently. This is necessary to generate statistics for previous periods of the Application's operation.
The company is located in Ukraine. The application is available for use by sellers without geographical restrictions. Information is stored and processed within Europe.
When you interact with the Website, we automatically receive certain types of information. This information generally does not include personal data unless you provide it directly through Website. We receive this information using the following technologies:
HOBUY does not transfer collected data about sellers and users to third parties for monetary or any other type of remuneration.
HOBUY shares information with third parties who provide services on our behalf, such as Website hosting, Website usage analytics, email, marketing support, etc. These service providers do not use information about you for any other purposes than the services provided by the bilateral agreements.

HOBUY may offer you the opportunity to interact with social plugins from social media websites, which may allow us and/or the social media website to receive data from or about you based on your privacy settings on those third-party services. The information received is securely stored in our database so that it can only be accessed in accordance with the rules specified in this Policy.
